Free UK Screening of Blood Lions

I'm pleased to share this free screening of Blood Lions at Oxford Brookes University that will take place on 19th October at 7:00pm.

In case you don't already know, this investigative documentary will follow the story of a renowned wildlife journalist, Ian Michler, and his 15-year long journey to uncover the truth behind canned lion hunting in South Africa. In his brave and tenacious attempts to re-trace his footsteps, he is confronted with his own emotions about this horrific industry.

Here's the trailer:

Following the screening there will be a Q&A panel discussion that I have been asked to join along Steve Travis (Protecting African Lions) and Professor Stewart Thompson (Professor in Biodiversity Conservation, Department of Biological & Medical Sciences, Faculty of Health and Life Sciences).

Guests will be able to ask us questions relating to the canned hunting and cub petting industries and the implications of volunteering for conservation within South Africa.

Tickets are available here.
